Hall Cottage
Much Hadham, Hertfordshire
The clients brief was to provide a new garden room to a Listed Cottage.
After careful liaison and discussions with the conservation officer a solution was found that maintained the historic core to the original house and provided a new room to satisfy the clients brief.
The vaulted roof is clad externally in lead and internally lined with an acoustic ceiling to create a more pleasant dining ambience. The oak doors and windows are crafted by a local joiner.
The client now gets the full pleasure of viewing their delightful garden from the new room.
